  1. 1.  Isabella Cameron was born in 1762 (daughter of Donald Cameron and Catherin Thomson); died in Jun 1838; was buried in Eilean Munde, Loch Leven.

    Notes:

    In 1809 a petition was addressed to the Rev. John Anderson, Factor for the Lochaber Estate of the Duke of Gordon by "widow Isabella Cameron" (also described as "widow Angus Cameron" and "daughter of Donald Mor Oig Cameron"). She wrote to the Factor pleading that she was in severe poverty, infirm and unable to pay the rent. One of approx. 7 or 8 tenants there, she clarified that she had lived at "Blarchoirn" for 28 years, and had been widowed for 4. She had "8 orphans", one of whom,"the 9 year old", had epilepsy, and required constant attention. (Ref. Chris Doak)

    Isabella married Angus Cameron in ca 1781. Angus was born in 1751; died on 3 Apr 1805; was buried in Eilean Munde, Loch Leven. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

    Issue at least 8 children, incl.

    Children:
    1. Isabel Cameron was christened on 14 Jan 1783 in Kilmallie.
    2. Anne Cameron was christened on 10 Mar 1785 in Kilmallie.
    3. John Cameron was born in ca 1790 in Blarachaorin; was christened on 17 Jan 1790 in Kilmallie; died on 30 Jun 1881 in Beaufort, Glen Innes.
    4. Donald Cameron died before 1848; was buried in Eilean Munde, Loch Leven.
    5. Alexander Cameron died before 1848; was buried in Eilean Munde, Loch Leven.
    6. Catherine Cameron

  1. 2.  Donald Cameron was born in 1734 in Annat, Inchree (son of Donald Cameron); died in 1800.

    Notes:

    He (or possibly his father) was agent for the Duke of Gordon and helped him raise the Gordon Highlanders.

    Donald (Big Donald, the younger) was the head of a notorious and unruly family who lived on the farms of Leckroy and Annat at the head of Glen Roy and they were known to have rental interests in the farms down towards Onich and Loch Leven

    3. Christina Cameron was born in ca 1770.
    4. Robert Cameron was born in 1774 in Inchree; died on 13 Jun 1822 in Callart.

    Notes:

    Standard Bearer for the Locheil at the battle of Prestonpans and at Culloden.

    Said to be the son of John Ban McMartin Retalch Cameron.

    John Cameron of Ratullochmore was living 1691 (rental), son of Angus (1678), son of John Roy (1667), son of Donald a younger son of Duncan, 3rd of Letterfinlay (MacMillan)

    1. 2. Donald Cameron was born in 1734 in Annat, Inchree; died in 1800.
