Adelaide Cameron was born in ca 1808 in Drogheda (daughter of Allan Cameron, of Lundavra and Bridget Colclough).

Lieut in Col. Tarleton's Dragoons, later Major in 20th Light Dragoons (1801) and 83rd Regt.

He left the army and took a civil post in Drogheda, Ireland, which he had left by 1811

She died "at a very advanced age"
