    Notes:

    Son of Finlay Campbell and Christina Allen (or McAllan) of Aberfoyle, Perthshire and brother of Archibald Campbell (I62228) who married Johanna Cameron of Strone/Camisky family. He was also uncle of Jane Campbell(I81565) who married John Cameron of the Hugh11 family

    They migrated to Sydney Dec 1838 per "Fairlee", farming first in NSW. From 1846 he was associated with Donald Cameron of Clunes, above, in properties in Victoria. Also MLC 1851-6 and 1862-82.

    He left Victoria for Britain in 1882, living in Portman Square, London as widower 1891, with his daughter Catherine. Probate was stated as over £500,000

    His will dated 27 Nov 1837 gave half his estate, valued at about £330 to his eldest son John, joint tenant in the lease of Clunes and £50 each to his natural daughters Isabella, Janet and Catherine, below
