    Archibald, Catherine & family arrived in Sydney as bounty immigrants. Typhus fever broke out on the ship which was quarantined at Spring Cove, North Head, Sydney Harbour on arrival. Archibald & son Adam died in the quarantine station. Sons John, Alexander & Archibald were placed in the Male Orphan School, Liverpool, where Archibald died in 1839. Agnes was placed in the Protestant Orphan School in 1839 & was returned to her mother after she married William Prayne in 1840. John & Alexander were returned to their mother in 1842 (Ref. Karen Stevens)
