    The following information is taken from the Fort William Kirk Sessions, dated 13 March, 1837:
    "Isobel Cameron, daughter of John Cameron of Kinlocharkaig, was fined and rebuked by the Kirk for giving birth to an illegitimate daughter. It was alleged that "Duncan McIntyre, son of the Reverend Duncan McIntyre of Kilmallie" was responsible. It was also noted that Duncan had "left the country". Duncan had indeed left the country, arriving in the colony of NSW on board the "Hooghley" in October, 1836.
