Capt. Allan Cameron, 5th of Glendessary and Acharn was born in 1721 (son of Allan Cameron and Christian Cameron); died before 1800.

Notes:

He was served heir to his grandfather John and to his cousin Alexander of Dungallon in 1763. In March 1762 he was styled "of Glendessary" in a bond.
Bankrupt, he eventually sold his estates in 1776.

Allan married Sibella Maclean in ca 1754. Sibella died on ca Jul 1765. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

His will of 21 Feb 1721 detailed his wife Christian

daughter Jean", his "2nd daughter Isabel", and his

Sir Ewen Cameron, of Lochiel, 17th Chief of Clan Cameron was born in Feb 1629 in Kilchurn Castle (son of John Cameron and Margaret Campbell); died in Feb 1719.

He also bought land in New Jersey in 1685, sold by his son Donald in 1721.
