Teacher, son of Donald Cameron, farmer. He migrated per "Boyne" from Cromarty 1 Sep 1838, arriving Sydney 2 Jan 1839, "aged 30". Under his care were his sister Mrs Mary McLennan, widow, b. ca 1810, of Kilmallie, dau. of Margery Cameron and her daughter Cathrine McLennan, b. 1832. All went to Beckham & Whitting, Woolar. Duncan Fitztempest Cameron was a teacher in Sydney for some time and as tutor in Goulburn district. He was probably author of Cameron History, 1888 (then of "Woodlands", Bimbi, near Grenfell). Correspondence in the Goulburn Herald in 1857 (about a feud with a neighbour) places him at Ruffy's Flat. He was also there 1865 when he gifted stock to his (great) nieces Sarah and Mary Ann Murray. He was unmarried
